It is extremely difficult to lose one who has loved you unequivocally no matter what you do. Bootsy never passed judgement on me. He was my friend and confidant. He always sensed if I wasn't feeling well or needed to hug him. He calmed me when I was angry and provided companionship and love when I was feeling sad. He was always there to greet me at the door and would jump on the bed, insisting I rub his belly while he told me how much he had missed me. He was, in every sense, a people cat and preferred to spend his time in our company. We all miss you, Bootsy. The memories we have keep you alive in our hearts. You were a very special cat.
