Thank you for visiting the Feline CRF Information Center’s Tributes to CRF Cats Gallery and for your interest in submitting your cat’s special Tribute.

Tributes are permanent* testaments of your love and care for your CRF cat. Over the years, we have received countless emails and guestbook entries from visitors who have been inspired, comforted and deeply touched by the Tributes.

By publishing a Tribute to your CRF cat, you will be permanently honoring your cat and your publishing fee will help to defray some of the operating costs of keeping the Feline CRF Information Center online and up-to-date.

Submitting a Tribute is easy. All you need to provide is your cat's story and pictures. To submit your cat’s Tribute electronically, follow the steps below. If you would prefer to submit and pay by mail, please contact us for instructions at: felinecrf-tributes@comcast.net

Writing a Tribute can be an overwhelming experience, especially when you are grieving. If you find you cannot put your story into words, you can still honor your cat's memory with a Memorial. You may also submit a Tribute with just a picture and no text.

*By permanent, we mean that Tributes and Memorials submitted will be online for the life of the Feline CRF Information Center Web site. Thus far, the site has been online for more than twelve years. We have no intention of removing it in the foreseeable future.

Charges:

1. Write your cat's biography or a story of your relationship or whatever you want to say as a Tribute to your cat. You can create an MS-Word file or just write the text as an email. Try to limit the size of the file to 1,000 words or less.

2. Select up to three images of your cat in gif or jpeg format.

• If possible, please scan photographs at a resolution of at least 300 dpi.

3. Open your email program and create an email as follows:

• To: felinecrf-tributes@comcast.net
• Subject: Tribute submission
• In the body of the email, include:
  • Your cat's full name
  • If your cat has passed away, include the birthdate (or approximate) and date of death.
• If you created an MS-Word file in step one, attach the Word file to the email
• Attach the graphics files to the email

4. Click the payment icon below, to make your payment through PayPal.

5. After the payment process is complete, send the email with your text and photographs attached.

We will contact you within a few days with a url for your Tribute. We won't link it to the Gallery until we have your approval.

• Your cat's photos may be submitted to us via e-mail in gif or jpeg formats.
• Choose pictures that are as clear and close-up as possible. We reserve the right not to include an image if we consider it too faded, fuzzy or unclear for Gallery standards.
• We reserve the right to alter photographic images (crop, retouch, enhance) as needed to maintain the standard of the Gallery.
• The quality of the online image is limited by the quality of the original photograph. We cannot materially improve on the original. We make an effort to improve photos that are overexposed or that have red eye. In some cases, the photos may be of such poor quality that nothing can be done to enhance them. If you prefer NOT to have your photos improved, we would appreciate it if you would let us know when you submit your Tribute. If we do alter your photographs, you will have final approval over whether the original or altered version is used.
• Please scan at a resolution of at least 300 dpi.

• Please let us know if you want your full name and/or e-mail address included at the end of your text.
• Proofread your writing carefully for spelling and grammar errors, words left out, etc. and make the necessary corrections.
• Where necessary, we will edit text for typos, spelling and grammar errors, missing words and inappropriate content.

• Cats are listed in the Gallery in alphabetical order by cat's name. Multiple cats with the same name will be listed in chronological order (date received) within alphabetical order.
• We reserve the right to edit text and not to put anything online we deem inappropriate or offensive to the general public.
• We will maintain one consistent background for all Tribute pages throughout the Gallery.
• We will not publish your name and/or e-mail address unless you specify that you want it published.
• Under no circumstances will we give any information about you to anyone, for any reason, without your express consent.
• Your cat's Tribute will appear in the Gallery as soon as your text is reviewed and edited, the photographs are retouched or resized as necessary and your payment is received. This could take from one to five days after we have received all of the above. You will be notified by e-mail as soon as your cat's Tribute is online.
• Your cat's Tribute will remain online as long as the Feline Chronic Renal Failure Information Center's Web site remains online.
• If, for any reason, you decide that you do not want the page to remain online, it will be removed upon receipt of your e-mail request to do so. If you wish to remove the page any time within the first 15 days after it has gone online, your money will be refunded.

• By submitting material to The Feline CRF Information Center's Gallery you are agreeing to grant The Feline CRF Information Center (in the person of its officers) a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide license to modify, display, distribute, reproduce or sublicense the material for whatever purpose is deemed fit by The Feline CRF Information Center. The license thus granted applies to all media and variations of media as they currently exist or as new media and variations of media are developed.
• Submission of material will be construed to be an assertion that the submitter of said material owns the rights to the material and is legally competent to transfer the rights as outlined above.
• Text must be original text written by you. Since it is impossible for us to know whether your text is original or belongs to or is copyrighted by someone else, we cannot be held responsible for any copyright infringement. You will be liable for any claims, damages, attorneys' fees and costs arising from the publication by The Feline CRF Information Center of any of the material submitted by you.
• We reserve the right not to include any photograph or text which we feel may be inappropriate or offensive to the general public.
• Be aware that a photograph or text on the Internet is free to whomever wishes to download it. The Feline CRF Information Center cannot prevent material published in the Tributes pages of the Gallery from being used elsewhere.
• Prices, terms, conditions and policies are subject to change without prior notice. Changes with respect to pricing, duration or size of Web page will not be retroactive, however, and the current terms will apply to all agreements made prior to such changes.
